TWO OPTIONS, ONE STANDARD OF CARE

Overnight or around the clock - we cover both.

OVERNIGHT CARE

Typically, a 12-hour shift (evening through morning) provides a caregiver presence overnight. They monitor safety, respond to nighttime needs, and ensure your parent can rest without concern. Ideal for clients who are generally independent during the day but shouldn’t be alone after dark.

WHEN FAMILIES CALL US

Most requests for overnight and 24-hour care arrive quickly - after a hospital discharge, a fall, or a moment when a family realizes the current arrangement is no longer safe. We can move fast, and with intention. In many cases, Compass has been able to begin within 24 hours of that first call.

Our owner is a Registered Nurse, and our management team is available 24/7 locally, so if something changes during a shift, you will reach a real person who knows your parent’s care plan, not a national call center answering at 3 a.m. Real people who really care.

24-HOUR CARE

  • Evening personal care includes settling in, medications, and hygiene

  • Nighttime safety monitoring and fall prevention

  • Assistance with nighttime bathroom trips

  • Reassurance and calm support for clients with dementia or anxiety

  • Morning routine support before day caregiver or family arrives

Full around-the-clock coverage for clients who need continuous support following a hospital discharge, during a health transition, or as a long-term care arrangement. We coordinate overlapping shifts so your parent is never without an experienced caregiver.

  • Continuous caregiver presence with coordinated shift coverage

  • Full personal care, meals, and as needed medication reminders

  • Dementia care and behavioral support as needed

  • Regular family updates from the care team

  • Coordination with visiting nurses or other healthcare providers

Don’t wait until the situation forces the decision.

We’re here for you if you’re planning ahead or need to move quickly. A quick call is all it takes to understand your options.
