PERSONAL CARE & DAILY LIVING

Support to start the day feeling like yourself.

Personal care isn’t a medical service. It’s the practical, hands-on help that makes a full day possible; done the way you prefer, at the pace that works for you.

WHAT PERSONAL CARE LOOKS LIKE DAY TO DAY

The morning feels normal, not clinical.

Every plan is built around the client. Below is a sample of what a personal care visit can include. We customize it to fit your needs exactly; nothing we do is by default.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Personal care is a good fit for anyone who wants to stay at home but may need support with physical tasks. This is often used after a fall, hospital discharge, a gradual decline in strength or mobility, or a chronic condition that make your mornings harder than they used to be.

It is also a strong fit for family members who have been providing this support themselves and need a reliable, professional presence so they can step back and simply be family again.

HOW WE APPROACH IT

Before care begins, a manager visits your home to conduct an unhurried assessment. We learn how you prefer to be cared for, because we believe personal care done well is deeply individual. Your caregiver is matched for skills and personality, and they receive specific orientation to your preferences during the first visit. Our owner is a Registered Nurse, so every care plan for personal support reflects clinical judgment, not just a task list.

SAMPLE PERSONAL CARE TASKS

  • Bathing, showering, and personal hygiene assistance

  • Dressing, grooming, and hair care

  • Toileting assistance and incontinence care, handled with dignity

  • Transfer, ambulation, and mobility support

  • Medication reminders and pill organizer checks

  • Oral hygiene and skincare routines

  • Companionship and social engagement throughout the visit

  • Light meal preparation and eating support if needed

“My mom was so resistant to having anyone help her get dressed. Within two weeks, she was actually looking forward to her caregiver coming. The way they approached her, with patience, not rushing, made all the difference.”
